If the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards proved anything, it’s that 20-year-old Miley Cyrus has nothing to hide. But now the slight frame she revealed in her beige-colored latex underwear has us asking how Miley got so thin.
Any long-term Cyrus fans know that Miley is all about the pilates. Her dedication to the intense exercise regime has fueled rumors of anorexia and other eating disorders — rumors that have only picked up after Sunday’s performance.
But really, there’s nothing to worry about, insists Miley’s pilates instructor, Mari Winsor. Recently, Mari sat down with E! News to dish about her celebrity client’s workout strategy.
"When she first came to me we worked together every single day for eight months straight,” Mari explained. “She wanted to change her body for her new music career. She doesn't do the lazy stretchy Pilates, she does the real deal!"
Miley’s clearly got big plans for the post-teen queen phase of her career. Does this mean we’ll be seeing more of her abs in future performances? Perhaps seeing as Mari wasn’t surprised in the slightest by her client’s on-air twerking.
"Miley's body looked great at the VMAs. I'm so proud of her,” Mari said. “I wasn't surprised at all by it — she is a risk taker. She was just like Madonna back in the Blond Ambition days!"
