We're getting very close to an announcement about which lucky actress will be chosen to play the coveted role of Anastasia in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film. And the latest report sounds like good news for a certain ABC Family star whose career is white-hot these days.

Variety is reporting that the film's producers have narrowed down their search to four actresses, although it's reportedly still possible that another actress could be added to the mix.

So which ladies are currently said to be the Final Four? Drumroll! And they are: Secret Life of the American Teenager's Shailene Woodley, Imogen Poots, Ben and Kate's Dakota Johnson, and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander.

"[T]hese names have consistently been mentioned as favorites of director Sam Taylor-Johnson and studio execs," according to Variety.

Shailene is without a doubt the biggest name of the four final contenders. Shailene is on her way to becoming a huge star, following her breakout film role in The Descendants, her buzzy performance in this summer's indie hit The Spectacular Now, and her highly anticipated starring role in next years's Divergent.

As for the other three ladies, they aren't quite as well known, which might work in their favor, since producers seem to be interested in casting an unknown in the role. Dakota — who, as the daughter of stars Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, is no stranger to the spotlight — had previously been rumored to be in the lead. And Alicia might be best known as the current rumored girlfriend of True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgard.

What's notable is that none of these four had been considered to be fan favorites for the part. Such actresses as Lucy Hale, Alexis Bledel, Emilia Clarke, Emma Watson, and Jennifer Lawrence have all been championed by tons of the book's readers, but they don't seem to be in contention at the moment.

But do YOU like one of these four choices? Or are you hoping someone else will emerge as the favorite? Decisions, decisions.
