UPDATE: Nope, she didn't win. But she got close! She lost to Andy in the final two. $50,000 ain't too shabby!
Would you laugh your arse off if Nick’s Fatal Attraction stalker won Big Brother 15?
It would’ve been impossible to imagine early in the season — especially after she attacked Candice Stewart — but 100 days is a long time, and by finale night (September 18) GinaMarie Zimmerman is in a good position to win.
At this point, she still has to take down Andy Herren in tonight's live final Head of Household competition. She and Andy have promised to take each other to the end no matter what, but they are probably both full of it. It makes much more sense to take Spencer Clawson, and they've both told him they want him in the end as well.
If GM wins the final HOH, she could certainly win. She played an "honest" game, as opposed to Andy; she outlasted all of her early-season allies; she helped form The Exterminators and stayed loyal to them; and she was the only one brave enough to nominate both Amanda Zuckerman and McCrae Olson for eviction. It took 10 weeks for "McCranda" to be put up — and Amanda had to "get steppin'" on GM's watch.
The Staten Island spitfire won serious brownie points for that, and the jury would probably view GM’s ballsy moves with renewed respect. Heck, Nick may give her a shot after all!
Then again, she also has to answer for all of her nasty comments in the house. She said racist things (calling welfare "n-gger insurance," telling Candice her "black" was coming out) and just mean things (taking shots at Candice's adoption, making rude comments about Elissa's son).
Candice and Amanda probably wouldn't vote for her to win, and if she does sit next to Andy she'd probably be handing him the money. Andy lied and backstabbed, but he didn't get into emotion-fueled fights in the house, and you could argue he was much more strategic throughout the game. But against Spencer? She could win. Why not? Spencer was on the block eight times, which is impressive for its Big Brother history-making, but he didn't do anything to save himself. He was just a pawn, there's no great gameplay behind it.
What do you think? If GM gets to the end next to Spencer, could she win? What about next to Andy? Could she still win? Are you rooting for her at this point?
