What rhymes with bunt? A word that Miley Cyrus has no problem calling the paparazzi and then tweeting.
“Just called this paparazzi a [C--T]. So before he makes breaking ‘news’ out if it. I’ll just say it. Ha-Ha #[C--T],” Miley tweeted at 3:16 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4.
Such extreme language, particularly coming from a 20-year-old former Disney star, is likely to get a rise. But eyebrow-raising actions are starting to seem like the norm for Miley.
In case you’ve missed her recent transformation, the star arguably stole the show at the August 25 MTV Video Music Awards for her performance with Robin Thicke. The raunchy number got plenty of people a-talkin' including daddy Billy Ray who said he would have done the same thing. Let’s hope that’s not also true in this latest instance.
Of course, even though Miley’s antics have been questionable, they’ve also been selling records. Her single “We Can’t Stop” is currently #7 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart while MTV reports “Wrecking Ball” saw a 124 percent increase in sales in the week after the VMAs.
As for that latest tweet, as of publishing it had 15,529 retweets and 22,258 favorites. Let that sink in for a minute.
So what do you think of this move by Miley? Should she check herself before she wrecks herself or just keep being her newfound public image? Share your opinions in the comments below.
