Update (July 29, 2014):

Nearly a year after Maya and her partner Paul welcomed their fourth child together, the Saturday Night Live alumna has revealed their little girl's name. A belated welcome to Minnie Ida Anderson! (BTW, that's Minnie after Maya's famous mom and not the famous mouse.)

As for the reason behind the delay, TMZ explains Maya gave birth at home so there was no hospital record of Minnie's arrival. Maya and Paul had until their little one turned a year old to file a birth certificate, hence the errand happening now.

Original story (September 10, 2013):

Maya Rudolph is a mom… for the fourth time! The comedic actress and her longtime beau, critically-adored film director Paul Thomas Anderson, welcomed their fourth child today, Us Weekly reports.

The new addition joins the couple's other children: 7-year-old Pearl, 3-year-old Lucille, and 2-year-old Jack.

The 41-year-old confirmed the pregnancy during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 27.

Maya, the daughter of "Lovin' You" singer Minnie Riperton, rose to fame as a standout on Saturday Night Live, joining the Studio 8H gang for seven years.

Since leaving SNL in 2007, Maya has taken to the silver screen, with parts in Away We Go, Grown Ups 1 and 2, Bridesmaids, and Friends With Kids. She returned to TV in 2011 to star alongside Christina Applegate and Will Arnett in NBC's Up All Night.

Meanwhile, Paul is the acclaimed director of Boogie Nights, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood, and The Master.

His next film, Inherent Vice, stars Joaquin Phoenix as a private eye looking into the vanishing of his ex and her new boyfriend. Joaquin is joined by a star-studded cast which includes Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Benicio Del Toro, Jena Malone, Martin Short, and — of course — Maya Rudolph.

Congrats to Maya and Paul on their new bundle of joy — and, for that matter, all their accomplishments!
