All-Star seasons are a staple for any long-running reality competition show. Project Runway has done it, Top Chef has done it, Survivor has done it (a few times it seems), and Big Brother has done it. So of course there’s speculation that Big Brother will once again bring back some of its most memorable players for Season 16 next summer!

Big Brother 4 winner Jun Song took to Twitter on September 17 to flame the wildfire rumors. “What in the hell is going on? BB alums are campaigning to be cast for #BB16 All-Stars?!” the reality show winner tweeted. It definitely seems like Jun isn’t down for the idea, but fans always seem to enjoy seeing their favorite houseguest make a second, or third, attempt at a win.

You might remember that Season 7 was actually an all-star season for Big Brother, but that was way back in 2006, aka forever ago. That season had a good cast of characters who would probably be up for returning once again, but don’t forget Big Brother 14 and the coach twist. They brought back Britney Haynes, Dan Gheesling, Janelle Pierzina, and Mike “Boogie” Malin to work with separate small teams of noobs.

And Big Brother 13 was also somewhat of an all-star season, using the old trick of pitting veterans against new players, so it doesn’t really seem like they have the all-star power to fuel yet another power-packed season.

But who knows, maybe the powers that be over at Big Brother will make it work! We can hope, right?
