We knew Danielle Fishel, aka Topanga from popular television series Boy Meets World, was getting hitched soon but who knew it be the same weekend as co-star Rider Strong (the bad boy with a heart of gold, Shawn Hunter)?! Talk about a busy time of year for the reportedly close-knit cast of the popular TV show.
Danielle and fiancé Tim Belusko wed on Saturday, October 19, in Los Angeles, Danielle's rep tells People. After dating for five years, the 32-year-old actress and her longtime sweetie said their "I dos" in front of more than 200 guests (including Danielle's TV husband, Ben Savage!) during a "short and sweet" ceremony, according to the magazine. Dressed in a lace strapless gown, Danielle walked down the aisle with her father, Rick Fishel, as Brian Culbertson's "Forever" played in the background. The wedding party included six bridesmaids and six groomsmen while the ceremony was hosted in a former cathedral.
The bride-to-be recently discussed her nuptials with Us Weekly. "Midnight blue is my main color," she told the magazine. "The color I'm wearing, basically. I think it's perfect for a this-time-of-year wedding." According to Us Weekly, the bridesmaids wore midnight blue dresses to fit the theme.
The actress wanted to get her big event out of the way before filming started on highly anticipated spinoff Girl Meets World. The show, which also stars Topanga's on-camera husband Ben, starts shooting in November.
Congratulations, Danielle and Tim! Have a wonderful honeymoon in Hawaii. We know Topanga and Cory did!
