Typhoon Haiyan made landfall in the Philippines over the weekend, ripping hundreds of communities apart in what is one of the most powerful typhoons to ever hit shore.

At last count, Haiyan has affected at least 9.7 million people across 41 provinces while estimates of how many died range upward from 2,000. Entire villages are reported destroyed by Haiyan’s huge waves and winds of nearly 150 miles per hour.

As it churns north into Vietnam and China, the typhoon is expected to be the deadliest natural catastrophe to ever hit the Philippines. In the wake of the devastation wrought by the storm, Glee stars are putting out the call for help:
