As fans continue to mourn actor Paul Walker, Fast & Furious 7 producers are reportedly hoping to have the actor's younger brother fill in for him in the movie.

Daily Mail is reporting that producers have asked Cody Walker, Paul's 25-year-old stuntman brother, to film Paul's remaining scenes in the film.

"Producers had a string of meetings right after Paul's death," a source says. "They soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie, and that's when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody."

"They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance, and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close-up, they can CGI it later on," the source continues.

It has been reported that Paul had already filmed a good portion of his scenes for the upcoming film prior to his shocking death in an auto wreck on November 30, 2013. These scenes would still be used, but numerous scenes involving Paul still have yet to be filmed.

So will Cody agree to film these scenes? "If Cody agrees, it's because he wants to honor his brother's memory," says the film insider. "There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving."

We must say that this would be a thoughtful gesture to Paul and a way to keep another actor from having to play Paul's role of Brian O'Conner. Plus, there's no doubt that Cody bears a striking resemblance to Paul.

What do you think of the idea to have Cody play Paul's role?
