Matthew McConaughey finally won an award for his amazing Magic Mike performance — and not just the award we gave him in our minds.

The 2013 Independent Film Spirit Awards were handed out on February 23, with Silver Linings Playbook taking home a slew of trophies, including Jennifer Lawrence's acting win.

Silver Linings Playbook won for Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Screenplay, and Jennifer Lawrence was named Best Female Lead for her role in the film.

Jennifer Lawrence is also nominated for an Oscar tonight for her role in the film, and she is widely perceived to be the frontrunner.

Bradley Cooper lost out as Best Male Lead to John Hawkes for his role in The Sessions, for which Helen Hunt also won Best Female Supporting.

Meanwhile, Matthew McConaughey and his abs took home the Best Male Supporting prize for Magic Mike.

Congrats to all the winners, whether they were shirtless in their films or not!
