This has been a rough week for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton, as the married couple separated this week. And while Robin appears determined to win Paula back, it might not be all that simple to do so.
Robin, 36, has been making it clear that he wants to get back together with his wife of almost nine years, but sources tell TMZ that Paula, 38, has yet to be impressed by his reconciliation attempts.
According to sources, Paula doesn't care that Robin has been telling the media and concertgoers that he wants her back. Instead, she's focused on his actions, as she plans to keep an eye on paparazzi photos to see whom he hangs out with and what he does at concerts and the after-parties. Indeed, she probably doesn't want to see any pics like the infamous butt-grope one from last year.
Paula has also addressed the situation on Instagram. "If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours — it it doesn't, it never was, and it's not meant to be," reads the quote she posted a photo of.
On February 27, Robin — who has a three-year-old son with Paula — opened up to the crowd at his concert in Virginia. "For those of you that don't know, my wife and I separated a few days ago, but I want everyone here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back," he said. "She's a good woman, you know?"
We shall see if Robin's efforts to patch things up pay off.
Do you think Paula should take Robin back?
