Things got a little uncomfortable on Tuesday night when current Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill put Andy Cohen on the spot during Watch What Happens Live. If you haven’t kept up, Carole’s co-star Aviva Drescher had dropped a serious bomb on a talk show earlier in the day, claiming the writer and her fellow Season 5 newbie Heather Thomson would be ousted next season. Oh, and Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin are taking their places.

The awkward part comes in when Carole asked her friend Andy if these rumors were true. As you know, Mr. Cohen is more than a late night host, but also an executive producer on all the Real Housewives shows in the franchise. Cue the uncomfortable squirms!

“I have a question for your Andy,” Carole boldly begins before continuing, “Aviva’s been saying on some radio show that Heather and I are being fired and replaced by Bethenny and Jill. What do you have to say about it?”

At first, Andy looked completely taken aback by the suggestion. Clearly, he did not know that Aviva was suggesting such things — and so publicly, at that. Ever the professional, though, the WWHL host quickly recovered.

“Daddy has enough problems in his life,” he quipped back, to which Carole added on, “Maybe it’s the voices in her head.”

Andy then quickly changed the subject, before backtracking later to ask, “Wait, so, she said you two are getting fired?”

“Heather and I are getting fired and replaced by Bethenny and Jill. Good luck with that,” Carole explained.

While Mr. Cohen was clearly rattled by the suggestion, we’re leaning toward this rumor being a bust. For one, the idea of Jill being allowed back into the franchise after she pissed Andy off so much last year seems laughably ridiculous. Additionally, Bethenny may be unemployed after her talk show comes to an end, but we can’t see her downgrading to Housewife again.

Time will tell!
