If you're Chasing Maria Menounos, you may not find her at Extra anymore. According to Page Six, her contract is up and she's decided to move on.
Maria, 35, has been with Extra since 2011, but a source said she and co-host Mario Lopez clashed and they "barely even speak to each other."
“Maria has become a big diva. Do we really need to see her in a bikini yet again?” a source said, referencing how Maria stripped down to a bikini after losing a Super Bowl bet. However, another source told Page Six that Mario was the real diva with the big ego, and they said Maria is "deciding between a number of opportunities."
Her Oxygen show Chasing Maria Menounos just premiered on March 18 and she's currently on the cover of Ladies' Home Journal, talking about her past weight loss and promoting her second book, The EveryGirl’s Guide to Diet & Fitness, which will be released on June 3.
Maria's Twitter bio still includes "Host @extratv," along with "NYTimes Best Selling Author. Star/EPof @oxygen's Chasing Maria Menounos @conversationsmm CEO of @afterbuzztv @bhlonline. @wwe & boston sports fan!"
Maria and Mario both competed on different seasons of Dancing With the Stars — Mario took second place with now ex-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff in Season 3, and Maria took fourth place with Derek Hough on Season 14.
Are you surprised to hear rumors that they clashed, and that Maria is (reportedly) leaving Extra behind?
