Tennis pro Roger Federer’s famous and all but we think it’s his wife Mirka Vavrinec who really deserves the trophy! The 36-year-old has given birth to twins — for the second time in a row!
The couple announced they were pregnant at the end of last year but at the time it sounded as if only one baby would be joining the Federer fold. Now we’re seeing double, with the couple welcoming not one but two little ones to the family. The proud papa announced the news on his Twitter and even shared his new children’s names!
“Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening! #TwinsAgain #Miracle,” he wrote May 6.
Leo and Lenny join big sisters Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, who turn five this July. The new additions make this family of six practically a full house!
Speculation Mirka was on the brink of labor started bubbling after Roger withdrew his name from this week’s Madrid Open just hours before announcing the birth of Leo and Lenny. The tennis ace told his Facebook fans he wanted “to be with my wife Mirka during these next few exciting weeks for our family.” We’d say it was a good call!
