It looks like Sons of Anarchy is adding another badass character to the mix next year!

Brian Hugh Warner — aka Marilyn Manson — will be appearing on the FX series in the upcoming final season this fall. Even crazier? The 45-year-old rocker made this happen all on his own by reaching out to the Powers That Be in order to surprise his dad. Adorable, right?

Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” Marilyn tells E!, offering up an explanation as to why he reached out to showrunner Kurt Sutter about appearing on the show. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

So who will Marilyn be playing on the show? He’ll appear as Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base. This character sounds like he’ll be fitting in pretty well with the rough-and-tumble crew, and we know the rocker will do a great job given his storied past on TV, having appeared on Once Upon a Time (his voice, at least) and Eastbound & Down.
