Melissa Etheridge has found her only one! The rocker married Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem this weekend at a wedding ceremony in Montecito, Calif.
People reports that Melissa and Linda, who both turned 53 on May 27, tied the knot at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito in the evening on May 31. "They were so happy," says a guest. "It was really beautiful." The couple had been dating since 2010 but had been friends for more than a decade before that.
At the intimate outdoor ceremony, Melissa wore a grey suit, and Linda wore a white dress. During the ceremony, Melissa sang a brand new song that she had written for Linda and that no one — including Linda — had ever heard before. "It was such a magical moment," a guest says of the tune.
Among the celebs in attendance were Jane Lynch, Chelsea Handler, Rosie O'Donnell, Whitney Cummings, Peter Facinelli, and singer Sia. All four of Melissa's children — Bailey Jean Cypher, 17; Beckett Cypher, 15; and seven-year-old twins Miller Steven Etheridge and Johnnie Rose Etheridge — participated in the ceremony.
Melissa's songs — including hits like "I'm the Only One" — have earned her two Grammys, an Oscar, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She split from wife Tammy Lynn Michaels in 2010.
We wish all the best to the newlyweds!
