Boy bands are proving to more resilient than we might have expected. For better or worse.

The latest sweetly-singing male combo to capitalize on early-2000s nostalgia is 98 Degrees, which has reunited and will be embarking on a tour later this month, according to MTV.

A lot has changed for Nick Lachey, Dancing with the Stars winner Drew Lachey, and... uh, the other two guys.

"We're a family," Drew says. "As dysfunctional as we are, we are family, and getting back together, we know each other, we love each other — most of the time."

"So being back together, getting back together is just like riding a bike, so it's a lot of fun," Drew adds. "The magic never dies."

The boys will be touring with two other boy bands who refuse to call it quits (and both happen to have infantilizing names), New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men.

The new 98 Degrees album, 2.0, hits stores today, featuring contributions from present-day hitmakers like Bruno Mars and Ne-Yo.

It's like it's 1999 all over again! Don't worry  we won't spoil what happens at the end of The Sixth Sense, in case you really are reading this in 1999.
