If you loved classic Westerns, along with the Back to the Future trilogy, then you probably remember actor Harry Carey Jr., who sadly passed away on December 27.

Harry had appeared in many John Wayne films, including The Searchers, Rio Grande, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, and 3 Godfathers. He and John Wayne were close friends over the years.

Harry died at the age of 91 of natural causes.

"He went out as gracefully as he came in," his daughter, Melinda Carey, said on December 28.

More recently, Harry appeared in such box office hits as Gremlins and Back to the Future III.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, whom he married in 1944 (!), along with three children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
