After a particularly unflattering report in In Touch appeared on newsstands this week, Amanda Bynes has issued a denial. Sort of.

In Touch reported that Amanda, who has exhibited some strange behavior lately (to put it mildly), recently appeared in her favorite New York tanning salon completely naked. The story claimed that Amanda forgot her eye protection after stripping down for a Mystic Tan, so she just waltzed back to the lobby, nude, to fetch it.

Now, Amanda tells Us Weekly, "I'm suing In Touch for printing a fake story.”

“I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.”

Putting the grandiosity of her statement aside, Amanda doesn't directly deny the incident. Sure, she may not consider the lobby of her tanning salon to be a public place. We get that. But being "a multi-millionaire" doesn’t automatically exempt anyone, celeb or not, from questionable behavior. Just look to Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Winona Ryder.

Do you think Amanda is completely off her rocker, or is she really the victim of a media blitz? Tell us what you think in the reaction buttons below!
