It is nice, sometimes, when celebs fight back against paparazzi — especially when the paps ambush them on the street, then try to get on their good side, saying things like "I like your bag! ... I mean, COME ON! I want to show the world that you are a sane person!"
That set-up went bad for — guess who! — drama girl of the moment, Amanda Bynes. Entertainment Tonight has a video that shows a photographer snapping a bunch of shots of Amanda (and we're all sure that's her?) on Sunset Boulevard. At one point she reportedly grabbed the man's camera, told him to delete a photo of her face (because she has to look “beautiful”) and they argued over who may have pinched whom. He said she hurt him. She said he pinched her. He said he didn't touch her. At one point he raised his voice, saying, "You dug your nails into my neck, lady!" He yelled that she was insane. She calmly replied that she didn't touch him. It’s weird — and, to us, it makes the photographer look crazier than Amanda.
Amanda may not be having the best week, but if this is how all paps act, you can't really blame celebs for trying to take control. Watch the video below (from ET, via PerezHilton) and decide if you think she’s at fault or if the pap is to blame.
NO MORE PR TEAM
This is a tough time for Amanda. She recently had her car impounded but still insists she's "doing amazing." Through this whole thing we’ve often wondered where her “team” has been to offer her advice or protect her from the craziness, and it turns out she’s reportedly been ignoring them, so they quit. TMZ just revealed that her management team — agent, publicist and entertainment lawyer — have all dropped her as a client. TMZ's sources said they all thought she was a dream client for years but became difficult in the past year and it's been hard for them to get in touch with her.
FREE DRIVING LESSONS FOR AMANDA AND LINDSAY
But there’s good news! In a clever move, Goodyear has sent letters to both Amanda and Lindsay Lohan, offering them free driving lessons. According to TMZ, the letters read: "We're sorry to hear about your latest driving mishap ... We're concerned for your safety and the safety of those who hit the road each day, and we'd like to help out any way we can." They offer to fly the celebs to Akron for private one-on-one lessons with their professional drivers — "no paparazzi allowed" — who can show them all the do's and don'ts of driving safely. They should both take the offer — just to get away from all the cameras!
