It sounds like Amanda Bynes' parents might not be liking their daughter's recent behavior.
The 27-year-old What I Like About You star hadn't spoken to her parents in a while but finally reconnected with them this week amidst their concerns about her actions, according to Radar Online.
Amanda lives in NYC while her parents are in L.A., and there had been rumors that they want her to move back to L.A. to be closer to them. But apparently this recent phone call went well.
“Amanda reconnected with her parents this week and it was a really positive talk on both ends,” a source reveals.
"Her parents are good people who are genuinely concerned for her," the source continues. "And Amanda misses them, so she finally called them up."
It sounds like the next step might be an in-person reunion in the near future.
"The last place Amanda wants to be is Los Angeles," says the insider. "She likes New York and doesn’t want to leave."
"But Amanda’s parents really want to see her so they’re thinking of flying out to New York as early as next week," the source continues.
Previous rumors had stated that Amanda's parents reportedly felt "powerless" to help her, so it's a good sign that they're now able to maintain contact with her.
Let's just hope Amanda keeps her thoughts about Drake to herself while she's talking to her parents.
