Seven actresses sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about their careers and how fame has changed their lives.
Amy Adams brought up the idea of living in the public eye as a parent. She gave birth to her daughter Aviana in May 2010, and even though she seems like a sweetheart on screen and off, The Fighter star is a total mama bear about her child.
“I am going to get in an altercation with the paparazzi. It's going to happen,” Amy told THR. “They keep focusing on my child. You guys are mothers. How do you handle it? Because I need to calm down. I have a really bad temper. I need to learn how to control myself.”
Anne Hathaway was part of the actress roundtable, and she replied, “I'm thinking about that because I really want to have a baby, and my husband and I are like, ‘Where are we gonna live?’" Marion Cotillard answered, “Come to France! We have laws!”
So there it is — the U.S. is in danger of losing its best actresses to France because we can’t stop taking photographs of their children! Do you think the paps should only focus on the celebs themselves, since they are the ones who signed up for a life in the spotlight? What would you do, if a photographer was taking photos of your child without your permission?
