It’s official: Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons is out and proud. In a recent interview with the New York Times, the actor spoke openly for the first time about his sexuality and his 10-year relationship.

The article explains that Jim got involved in the Broadway production of The Normal Heart — a play that focuses on the HIV/AIDS crisis in the early ‘80s — because it “resonated with him on a few levels.” Other than that, he continued to be tight-lipped on the matter.

The news isn’t totally shocking, but we’re glad he felt comfortable opening up!
