Hector, who was 50 years old, was sitting in a car outside of the Puerto Rican capital with his friend Adrian Mojica Moreno when both men were shot. An unknown gunman opened fire and killed Adrian on the scene. But for Hector, the bullet struck him in the jaw and then entered his shoulder and fractured two vertebrae.
