Seven years after the release of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, newly engaged Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be gearing up to appear together on the big screen once more.
Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking on the part of famed director Ridley Scott, who, Deadline reports, is very close to signing Brad for his new movie The Counselor. Though Angelina’s participation is unconfirmed, rumor has it that she and the director discussed the possibility of her playing the female lead while the two worked on a Gertrude Bell biopic.
Even if Angelina joins the project, there’s no word on whether she and Brad will share scenes, let alone give us Mr. & Mrs. Smith-type action. So let’s not get too excited.
What do you think? Would you watch another Jolie-Pitt on-screen collaboration? Or has their off-screen life become too prominent for us to enjoy them playing other characters in the same movie?
