Life isn't always sexy for the Sexiest Man Alive.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum tells People that her husband, Channing Tatum, chose an awkward moment to tell her that he was being awarded with the title.
In fact, the two were actually in the process of cleaning skunk spray off their dogs. "Our dogs were being skunked every other night for about two months straight, so this was a very normal occurrence, to be kneeling in front of the bathtub washing our dogs," Jenna says. Sounds like they live at 21 Skunk Street.
"But he was like, 'Oh, by the way, I was named People's Sexiest Man Alive," Jenna says with a luagh. "Is that not the strangest way to tell me this news?"
"I'm not quite sure why the skunk smell made him think about it," Jenna says. "Maybe it was the fact that it was the last thing something the Sexiest Man Alive would be doing. But I don't know. Maybe it was the sexy skunk musk that made him think of it." Whatever turns you on, Channing.
Above all, Jenna is proud of her man. "That's special because it says he's achieved so much in his career and in his life that makes this award a possibility," she continues. "But he's always been the Sexiest Man Alive to me."
Aww! Aren't these two the cutest? And we think it's actually cool that Channing chose such an inopportune moment to break the big news to his wife, since it seems to reflect that he isn't letting all these accolades get to his head. Long story short, this guy definitely is "magic."
