Actress Christina Ricci, 32, looked very sleek and stylish at the Berlinale premiere of her new movie, Bel Ami, on Friday, February 17. But the typically svelte star hasn’t always been so slim.
Christina was noticeably curvier back in 2003, and she’s been very candid about her struggles with her weight — even admitting to having battled anorexia in her teens. She recently opened up about her eating disorder on The Talk (via ET Online), saying, "I think it's just really awkward to go through puberty, and go through growing up and becoming a woman, when everybody is always kind of looking at you. And especially — you're doing fittings for a movie, and people are judging how this looks on you and how that looks on you. And you just get very uncomfortable and you never want anyone to be able to criticize you."
She added, "But I was put into therapy very quickly, so I was able to overcome it."
Our verdict: Curvy or skinny, the Pan Am star will always be gorgeous.
