Each year people are alternately excited and up in arms about TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World list. We’re personally stoked that some of our favorite entertainers made it onto the carefully curated list this year!

Hip-hop tough girl (and part-time exhibitionist) Rihanna received glowing praise in a piece written by fashion designer Stella McCartney, who points out that RiRi’s enormous success has been accomplished “in her own stride.” Powerhouse British vocalist Adele also made the list, as did SNL comedienne Kristen Wiig, two actresses from The Help (Jessica Chastain and Viola Davis), outlandish talk show personality Chelsea Handler, actress Claire Danes, and the Middleton sisters... in one spot. Seriously, there wasn’t enough room to include both the graceful Kate and the stylish (and sometimes wild) Pippa separately?

Other noteworthy celebs contributed articles about the featured influential individuals. Angelina Jolie paid tribute to filmmaker Charmeen Obaid-Chinoy, while Kathy Griffin waxed poetic about Chelsea Handler and Judd Apatow gave kudos to Kristen Wiig.

While TIME’s list is well-rounded, there’s always a nagging feeling that someone crucial was left out. Is there an important celeb you think should have made it onto the Most Influential People in the World list? Let us know in the comments!
