If you're ready to have the time of your life (again), you'll have to wait a little while longer.

Lionsgate just announced that the Dirty Dancing remake, directed by Kenny Ortega — who choreographed the original 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey — will hit theaters on July 26, 2013.

According to Variety, the reboot will feature songs from the original, classic songs from the 1960s, and new compositions.

No word yet on who'll play Baby or Johnny, but some names being tossed around are Emma Stone and Justin Timberlake. However, we wouldn't be surprised if Kenny cast some lesser known talents, like So You Think You Can Dance Season 8 winner Melanie Moore, who he said he would "elbow people out of [his] way" to work with.

Who would you like to see cast in the Dirty Dancing remake?
