Add another one to the list. Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher and the film Parental Guidance both postponed their premieres, and now Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has canceled its Los Angeles premiere (scheduled for tonight), in the wake of Friday’s school shooting in Connecticut.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the tragedy in Newtown, CT and in this time of national mourning we have decided to forgo our scheduled event,” a spokesperson for The Weinstein Company said in a statement (via Entertainment Weekly). “However, we will be holding a private screening for the cast and crew and their friends and families.”

Several TV show schedules have been altered after the shooting, plus Saturday Night Live skipped its usual cold open sketch in favor of a children's choir singing "Silent Night," and Ke$ha’s hit song “Die Young” has been pulled from many radio stations
