Dreama Walker has been a key player in many of our favorite shows: She played temporary queen bee Hazel Williams on Gossip Girl, scheming rabble-rouser Becca on The Good Wife, and now she stars as amazingly tolerant roommate June on Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23.

At the show's New York City premiere party last night (October 22) — hosted by Vulture.com, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Ultimat Vodka — Wetpaint Entertainment chatted with Dreama about the show as it heads into Season 2, starting tonight.

Dreama told us that the relationship between and June and Chloe (Krysten Ritter) will keep evolving as June continues match wits with her outlandish roommate and keep her in line. “She gets a little more feisty!” says Dreama.

That’s good news to all of us who are loving the power plays between the the two!

June is much friendlier and well-behaved than Chloe, but Dreama admits to getting a little envious of Chloe’s outrageous antics, but she adds that in “one in every five episodes,” June gets to let loose and to “go out and do something different.”

The season premiere sees — spoiler alert! — June fervently trying to convince (fictionalized) James Van Der Beek to take part in a Dawson’s Creek reunion. But was Dreama as obsessed with the ‘90s teen drama as her on-screen counterpart? “I actually wasn’t allowed to watch it when I was a kid!” the actress says.

As for The Good Wife, Dreama would love for Becca to return as a thorn in Eli Gold’s side — if viewers can separate the roles. “I love The Good Wife. But I feel like I’m at a moment right now where people have [seen me out of high school], so I don’t know.”

You can also catch Dreama in indie psychological drama Compliance — in theaters now — an experience Dreama says was amazing but so intense that it made Apt. 23 seem like light work. “I can laugh again!” she says.

Season 2 of Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23 premieres tonight, October 23, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
