Today is pretty special indeed!
Veronica De La Cruz — who hosts NBC's Early Today and MSNBC's First Look — welcomed a son on March 13, according to People.
She named her baby Hartley Eric, in honor of her brother, Eric, who died while awaiting a heart transplant in 2009. This is her first child.
“After the pain and devastation of losing Eric almost four years ago, having a healthy baby feels like an incredible miracle," the 32-year-old new mom says.
“Of course, he couldn’t be any more beautiful," she adds. "I think I can safely say I have finally met the love of my life.”
Prior to moving to MSNBC in 2010, she was a reporter on CNN.
We wish Veronica and her new baby all the best!
