While the rest of us have been busy admiring Ryan Gosling’s abs, Gangster Squad star Emma Stone has been focusing solely on her co-star’s intellectual prowess.
In a recent interview with director Cameron Crowe for Interview magazine, the Hollywood starlet reveals that she’s still good pals with her two-time co-star and that she’s a huge fan of the hunky actor’s brain.
“I’ve asked him to read a couple of scripts. I just really like hearing his viewpoint because I know that it’s never going to be tainted,” she said. He’s very much his own person... I only met him two years ago when we did ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love,’ but it was like meeting a member of your team or something. I really like his brain.”
And while she seems to be blissfully in love with her Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield at the moment, Emma also admits that things weren’t always so easy for her when it came to love.
“I was crawling on the floor. I remember throwing up,” she says, recalling a past heartbreak. “I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It’s like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen. It was awful.”
Of course thanks to Ryan, should Emma ever have her heartbroken again, she’ll have some awfully fit shoulders to cry on!
