Emma Watson is only 22, but she's already a veteran of the international dating scene.
She’s romanced a small mix of guys from the United States and her native United Kingdom, including British rocker George Craig and her American Perks of Being a Wallflower co-star Johnny Simmons. She's been dating American Will Adamowicz for almost a year now, after they met while students at Oxford.
Emma will be on Ellen today and, according to E! News, she told Ellen DeGeneres British guys are well dressed and well mannered but they are also so restrained she's used to being "ignored for the first two months of the ritual" before her presence is acknowledged. Then the guys will be "a little mean" to her, then maybe start to warm up. Sounds pretty childish
On the other hand, her experience with American men sounds better — or at least more direct. She said early on, when she was at Brown University in Rhode Island, a guy just approached her with "I like you. You're great. Let's go on a date. Let's do it.'" It threw her off as a huge culture shock. "They're very like open and very straight-forward — but they wear flip-flops and I don't know if I like that."
So if American boys could just learn how to dress, they'd be perfect!
