With Desperate Housewives in its final season, Eva Longoria has been looking ahead to new projects. Although it looks like we won’t be seeing the gorgeous actress in front of the camera, she has signed on to develop a dating show with NBC and to serve as executive producer on an ABC pilot.
According to the New York Post, Eva’s dating show, All About Love, will focus on lonely singletons getting help from matchmakers. Insiders say that NBC green-lighted a full series, and it’s set to go into production in April.
Eva will stick closer to her Desperate Housewives roots by teaming up with creator Marc Cherry on a new soap called Devious Maids. Deadline reports that the show will have four female leads (sound familiar?) — each with ambitions and dreams beyond cleaning up after uber-wealthy Beverly Hills households.
It sounds like Eva will definitely be keeping busy, but we’re going to miss seeing her on-screen! Guest appearances, please?
