Marilyn Monroe famously sang "Happy Birthday" for President John F. Kennedy, and while Eva Longoria hasn’t had that honor yet, the Desperate Housewives star was part of a select group of celebrities who snagged a dinner with Barack Obama while he was in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Eva was one of the VIP guests at a private fundraising campaign dinner at trendy Fig & Olive restaurant on Melrose Place on September 26, where the price per plate was a whopping $17,900. Other Hollywood big wigs on the guest list included Jack Black, Danny DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman, producer Jon Landau, and director Judd Apatow.

Executive Chef Pascal Lorange made a delectable selection of Mediterranean delicacies from the restaurant's menu, which includes 14 different olive oils.

Fig & Olive is turning into a new favorite for Eva, who was there just the week before for Fox's Post-Emmys Party.

While the restaurant's menu is on the pricey side — especially when the president is in town — Eva can definitely afford it. She was just named one of the two highest paid women in TV (alongside Tine Fey) by Forbes Magazine, earning a reported $13 million between May 2010 and 2011.

With that kind of paycheck, $17,900 doesn’t seem like such a crazy price for dinner. Although we hope she took home a doggy bag!
