In some places that are not called "the United States," tabloids have to blur the faces of celebs' children in print. So if David Beckham is out with his kids, and the paparazzi get photos, the British tabloids blur out the kids' faces.

That's the kind of thing Eva Mendes wants — for her dogs. Hey, animals lovers consider their pets to be their babies, so why not protect them from the paps too, right? Eva loves her babies so much, she recently revealed she tested her dog's shock collar on herself. (!) Not that you would use a shock collar on a human child.

Anyway, Eva told New York Magazine (via Vulture) she wishes tabloids were required to blur the faces of her dog, Hugo, and her boyfriend Ryan Gosling's dog, George. "I’ll go somewhere and they’ll be like, 'Hey, Hugo!' and I’m like, 'How do you know Hugo’s name? That’s so creepy!'" (It's probably because she's mentions his name in interviews — like this one, and the one about Hugo's shock collar!)

Asked if she wants to have human kids, Eva joked to the NY Mag interviewer, "I’m so out of here! You know the cartoon where the steam comes out and it says, ‘Boop-beep-boop. System down!’?" She doesn't like to talk about her personal life with Ryan, or even how they met. "That’s where I start to shut down, because it gets into personal territory that I don’t feel comfortable talking about. So sorry."

So we probably shouldn't ask her if that new Ryan/Rachel McAdams rumor has any truth to it. Just blur it right out!
