Although we’re barely at the midseason mark, network execs are already thinking ahead to next fall. So far, The CW has a handful of shows that they know they want more of, but others have been warned that their fate is up in the air.

According to Spoiler TV, sources have revealed that Gossip Girl, America’s Next Top Model, 90210, and The Vampire Diaries are safe, with Supernatural likely to be as well. Sadly, Hart of Dixie, Nikita, Ringer, and The Secret Circle could be axed.

Frankly, we’re a little surprised by some of these decisions. The Secret Circle, for example, regularly brings in more viewers than Gossip Girl. We’re not saying we want to see GG go, but the fact remains that the Upper East Side gang has hit ratings lows at many points this season.

For those worried about the shows left hanging in the balance, don’t give up yet. Keep watching and hope that The CW doesn’t like their new pilots (including the Sex & the City prequel) as much as what they’ve got now!
