Finally! Game of Thrones fans have been waiting for as long as a Westeros winter to find out who will play Wildling King Mance Rayder in the epic show's third season. Now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we know.

Ciarán is no stranger to HBO epics: He's best known to many for playing Julius Caesar on HBO's Rome. He currently portrays womanizing ex-President Bud Hammond on USA's Political Animals, which wraps up this week. Although he's not exactly how we pictured Mance, there's no question that Ciarán will bring gravitas and power to the role.
Ciarán isn't the only familiar Rome face making their way over to Westeros this year. Tobias Menzies, who memorably portrayed Brutus, has been cast as Catelyn's younger brother, Edmure Tully.
Now we just need some confirmation on who will play Ramsay Bolton...
