For the second week in a row, the winning designs from NBC’s Fashion Star are selling like hot cakes.
This week, H&M picked contestant Sarah Parrott’s design for the second week in a row. Sarah’s wide-legged tuxedo trousers is currently retailing for $19.95 and has already sold out on H&M’s website. The easy-to-wear pants align perfectly with spring’s new trend of wide-legged trousers and the tuxedo stripe adds a fun spin to the pants. Hopefully H&M will be getting more of the pants in soon. (And save some for us!)
In Macy’s corner, the retailer picked Nzimiro Oputa, whose light blue western men’s shirt with black contrast trim is currently retailing for $70. The retailer also picked Lisa Vian Hunter’s spring-ready sleeveless empire-waist dress, which has already sold out at the price of $99 a pop.
Don’t lose hope that everything is sold out from this week’s round of winners: Kara Laricks’ plaid shift dress that was picked by Saks Fifth Avenue is still in stock. The dress is currently retailing for $325.
Be sure to check back with the retailers later in the week to see if they bring back more stock of this week’s designs!
