Gwyneth Paltrow’s Twitter followers are going gorillas!
On Friday, June 1, Gwyneth tweeted a photo of herself onstage at Jay-Z and Kanye West’s concert in Paris. The caption — “Ni**as in paris for real” — incensed those who saw it, leading many to cry racism. But “Ni**as in Paris” is the name of one of the rap duo’s mega-hit songs from Watch the Throne, and Gwynnie was watching them perform it live in Paris.
Taken aback by the backlash, the actress tweeted as much, saying, “Hold up. It's the title of the song!”
Are you OK with Gwyneth’s explanation, or did she take it two words too far by adding “for real”? Sound off in the comments below!
