The mystery of what really happened at Halle Berry's home over Thanksgiving weekend continues.
Halle's ex, Gabriel Aubry, has obtained a restraining order against her fiancé Olivier Martinez, who battered Gabriel's face during the brawl.
In his declaration, Gabriel writes that he took Nahla, his daughter with Halle, to her school play. Halle and Olivier were both there, and Olivier reportedly whispered to Gabriel in French, "I wish I could beat the s**t out of you right now. You're lucky we're in a school right now. We're going to take Nahla right now, and you're not going to follow us."
Then, on Thanksgiving, Gabriel says he took Nahla to Halle's at 10 a.m., and Olivier surprisingly came to the door to get Nahla — which is usually done by their nanny. Gabriel writes that Olivier said, "We need to talk." Gabriel says he tried to walk to his car when Olivier jumped off the stairs and knocked Gabriel to the ground.
Olivier reportedly slammed Gabriel's head into the concrete driveway repeatedly, screaming that he and Halle were going to take Nahla to Paris, and that Gabriel better move there to, or he would kill Gabriel. Olivier also was apparently screaming at Gabriel for costing them $3 million in the custody battle, since Gabriel wouldn't let the couple take Nahla to Paris.
According to Gabriel, Olivier then said, "We called the cops." Olivier apparently told Gabriel, "You're going to tell them that you're the one who attacked me, or I'm going to kill you."
Police say that Gabriel didn't mention these threats to them immediately following the fight.
Gabriel's restraining order is in addition to one that Halle received to protect her from Gabriel.
Wow, talk about complicated. Let's hope that we're now in the calm after the "storm."
