We’re usually suspicious when anyone on TV describes themselves as “the voice of my generation,” but if there’s one girl who can get away with it, it’s Lena Dunham. And if there’s one show that might capture 20-something girls who are broke, between jobs, and still trying to figure out guys, it might just by HBO’s new show Girls.

In the newest trailer for Girls, which premieres April 15, we’re introduced to Hannah (played by Lena). Her parents suddenly decide to “cut her off,” which means she’ll need to get a job and somehow struggle to figure out life and boys and friendships in New York City — all while trying to stand out from all the other girls, who are trying to do something bigger with their lives, too.

Judging from the video, it looks like Girls is the most honest portrayal of what it’s like to be 1 Broke Girl in the City (see what we did there?). Watch for yourself and tell us: Will you be watching?
