According to the Daily Mail, the first person to learn of Kate Middleton's pregnancy may have been the person who gives the Duchess of Cambridge her spray tans.

Back in October, Kate reportedly canceled her appointments for a lady to come to Kensington Palace and give her a light spray tan. "Kate usually likes just enough to give herself a little glow before a public appearance," a source told the Mail. But pregnant women in their first trimester are not supposed to have spray tans, the insider said, so when she stopped getting her tans it was a sign that she had a bun in the oven. (Besides, don't pregnant women naturally "glow"?)

The story says Kate recently had her 12-week scan and was told her baby is healthy, which is good news. The spray tan thing is just an interesting anecdote — but can you imagine having personal spray tan house calls at your palace? That's when you know you're a royal.
