Shia LaBeouf is not looking himself lately. And that's putting it mildly.
Sporting a “festive” sweater, flannel shirt, and skinny jeans, Shia was spotted evading photographers yesterday (March 8, 2012), with coffee in hand. But what was most attention-grabbing was his brand-new, thick, full beard and slicked back ponytail. Classy!
So what's behind his dramatic new look? Well, since announcing that he would not star in any future Transformers movies (regardless of whether or not the series continues), Shia has been working on a series of projects.
His latest is The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, in which he’ll play the title role. The film is currently in pre-production, so we can only assume (or hope) that Shia’s hairy new look is in preparation for his role.
In the film, Shia plays Charlie Countryman, a normal guy who falls for a crime boss’s girl (Evan Rachel Wood). The question is, will the girl love his furry face?
What do you think of Shia's new look? Is it hipster chic or mountain-man scary? You tell us!
