Wondering how much the stars of The Real Housewives of New York get paid? Former star Simon Van Kempen (aka fired Housewife Alex McCord’s oddball husband) may have just let slip how much the Housewives are taking home.

Rob Shuter from The Huffington Post talked to Simon about the possibility of returning to RHONY after he and his wife had been dumped from the show. Simon wasn’t too enthusiastic about returning, adding that the only thing he missed was “the $300,000 paycheck.” Rob notes that this is only the reported paycheck, but if Simon is saying it we are inclined to believe that his wife was getting that sum. But then again, you never know with the McCord-Van Kempens.

There’s no word on what the current slate of RHONY Housewives are getting, but reality show paycheck history suggests that the new cast members (Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, and Heather Thomson) are probably not making as much as established cast members Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan. The original three were probably getting paid as much as Simon says he and Alex were earning. However, after the premiere of what looks like an exciting, drama-filled season, the new Housewives might be eventually getting a paycheck boost.
