Here’s good news for those of the DVR/Tivo-less among us: You won’t have to miss those swing-dancing classes/intramural ping pong tournaments/weekly margarita nights simply because you have appointment-viewing with a CW show. As long as you have Hulu Plus, that is.

While many other networks — ABC, NBC, FOX — put their shows up on Hulu pretty quickly after they air, the CW has generally waits four days after broadcast to upload the most recent episode to their site. It can be pretty torturous trying to avoid Vampire Diaries spoilers for that long, so it’s great news that Hulu and the CW have reached a five-year deal.

Per the terms of the agreement, Hulu will stream the five most recent episodes of the CW’s shows the day after they broadcast on their subscription service, Hulu Plus. Hulu’s free site will offer those five episodes starting eight days after they air.

CW fans will also be able to watch previous seasons of Gossip Girl, Nikita, The Vampire Diaries, and more on Netflix.
