The battle for the role of Finnick Odair has already been raging for months, but lest we forget, the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, has a few other prized parts to fill as well.
The film’s producers are now on the lookout to fill the role of fiery District 7 tribute Johanna Mason, and according to The Playlist, actresses Mia Wasikowska and Zoe Aggeliki are currently in the mix.
22-year-old Mia Wasikowska, who is known for her work opposite Michael Fassbender in Jane Eyre, should already be comfortable with at least one Hunger Games cast member — the Australian actress acted alongside Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the Hunger Games trilogy, while working on 2010’s The Kids Are All Right.
The franchise’s new director, Francis Lawrence, is also reportedly looking at 18-year-old model Zoe Aggeliki to star opposite Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth).
Whoever lands the role will surely have to show their fight. Those who’ve read the books know that tough girl Johanna isn’t always one to play nice!
