Flanked by his funnygirl sister Joan Cusack, along with Jack Black, Billy Bob Thornton, and Dan Ackroyd, actor and star of the upcoming thriller The Raven John Cusack posed for the crowds next to his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today (April 24).

Known for iconic roles from the '80s through to today, from films like Say Anything and Better Off Dead to High Fidelity and Being John Malkovitch, John has become a much-loved Hollywood leading man.

"To the best of my knowledge, I've tried to screw my career up as much as I possibly could," he joked to the crowds there to celebrate his Walk of Fame induction, according to E!. "But even with all my best efforts to screw it up, I managed to have lasting friendships, and some of the best friends I've ever met in the business."

John takes on the role of Edgar Allen Poe in The Raven, coming out this Friday.
