We all know that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but did you know that the good weather may extend to your local movie theater, too?
Always Sunny creator Rob McElhenney, who stars as Mac on the FX hit, revealed to TMZ that he’s in discussions to turn the show into a feature film. The cast has already taken their musical-within-a-show, The Nightman Cometh, on the road in 2009, and now they may be expanding their universe once again with the addition of a movie. However, Rob reveals that the show has a few more seasons to crank out before any such project gets made.
Glenn Howerton, who stars as lothario Dennis, mentioned that he has a few branding ideas up his sleeve as well. When asked about beer, the show’s beverage of choice, Glenn mentioned that he’s been in talks with FX to make an It’s Always Sunny microbrew available in stores.
Looking forward to Sunny-ness in our cinemas and in our fridges!
